The band’s official website, Metallica.com, confirms its concert on October 25 on Yas Island, with the organizers being Flash Entertainment.

Tickets have gone on sale since 12pm UAE time on September 13 on Thinkflash.ae, according to Metallica.com. However, log on to the organizers’ site and a ‘busy’ message welcomes eager beavers planning to nab tickets before they sell out. Good news for Met Club members is, they can log in and check the club news section for a password to guarantee access to the front ‘Fan Pit’ section at Yas.

The band appears excited about their UAE stint, posting on its website: “We’re continuing to find firsts in 2011 as we are extremely excited to announce that we will be playing in Abu Dhabi on October 25 at Yas Island. After 30 years of travel to all corners of the earth, this one is extra special as the show kicks off a week of new territories for us as this show will be followed by two nights in India.”
