Solo Sully Erna

Sully Erna, Godsmack’s frontman and New Hampshire singer Lisa Guyer performed on Thursday Feburary 10, acoustically at Massachusetts radio station WAAF in Boston.

Erna is ready for his debut solo tour planned sometime this year. It wont be a big tour, around three weeks in small venues to support his first solo disc, “Avalon”.

He told the radio station that he wanted to make sure people know the difference between his solo work and Godsmack.

“It really is a separate band,” he said. “I mean, I think people need to understand that Sully Erna is more of a brand name than it is my name when it comes to this solo project. It’s always gonna be completely separate from Godsmack. It has no business being in the same area as Godsmack because it doesn’t compete with it. It’s a whole different genre of music.”
